The grandest gesture of love with these two! Their surprise proposal was captured during sunset in front of the famous Jane’s Carousel in Brooklyn with the epic Lower Manhattan skyline in the background.

Prior to D-day, I and the (future) groom did a walkthrough of the location a few days before during a torrential downpour. I always recommend to my proposal clients to do a walkthrough no matter what. Rain or shine. Based on our schedules it was the only date and time we could actually meet. He was a trooper and drove out from Staten Island.

During our walkthrough he let me know he was really glad to come and check out the grounds with me because it helped him visualize his setup for the day of and wasn’t going to be left scrambling at the last minute.

Happy to report the proposal was a mission success and we got lucky with such beautiful weather and sunset!
