When I tell you I was stunned when I stepped foot at 11 Hoyt Brooklyn, that’s an understatement.
In August, I joined a group of invited photographers to an influencer event in Downtown Brooklyn that was hosted by Optimist Consulting and Corcoran Sunshine, part of the Corcoran Group. They have some of the most beautiful residential buildings in its portfolio. As invitee’s to this property we had the opportunity to check out the 32nd floor Sky Club, as well as four out of the five penthouses!
This drop-dead gorgeous property in Downtown Brooklyn is a 57-story luxury residential building with 481 units. While there are mixed feelings about gentrification in places like Brooklyn, it’s hard to ignore the sheer work of art buildings like 11 Hoyt. This is the first residential project by Studio Gang, a progressive architecture firm along with Hollander Design. The exterior design was inspired by the classic bay windows of the iconic Brooklyn brownstones.
One of the first things visitors to the building will notice is the unique entranceway. It’s a private drive with a porte-cochere that feels like a secluded oasis away from the rest of the busy street. This sets the tone for the rest of the building as guests enter the grand lobby with 29-foot high ceilings with white oak-paneled walls.
With its elegant style, 11 Hoyt is likely to set a new standard of living for residences in Downtown Brooklyn.
