Wagner Cove is a secluded pavilion on the west side of Central Park next to The Lake and is the perfect spot for photos. Kat Gaffney and I were actually co-workers at a hedge fund together when she approached me to take her bridal portraits. Her only criteria for the location was that it needed to be a mix of rustic and city-like since she’s originally from the South but had been living in NYC for years. At first, I was looking around the Brooklyn area, only to realize that Central Park had something for everyone!

The photoshoot date was set in the summer, and the trees and surrounding area of Wagner Cove were lush with green and complimented her white dress beautifully.
Since Wagner Cove is in a secluded part of Central Park, the easiest way to find it is to walk to the Cherry Hill area near West 72nd Street and face the Cherry Hill Fountain. It will be on your left side which is facing west.
