The Mohawk House in Sparta, NJ, is a beautiful rustic venue perfect for an occasion like a wedding. My clients, Jennifer and Beatrice (Bea), came to me about two months before their big day, looking for a wedding photographer because our mutual friend, who is also an amazing nail tech, referred me.
The weather on the wedding day was a perfect amount of intermittent cloudy and sunny, which allowed for easy and diffused pictures when capturing candid and big moments like exchanging vows. Every photographer will always prefer a cloudy day to a sunny one because there’s no harsh lighting on the subject.
Congratulations to the beautiful couple! I’m so happy to have been a small part of it.
Getting to Mohawk House, Sparta, New Jersey
It was actually quite confusing driving to Mohawk House. When entering the location in Google Maps, for some reason, it kept routing to the Lake House Cafe. After asking around and driving around town, I finally figured out that for the GPS to work, the location for the Sparta United Methodist Church, which is right next to the Mohawk House in Sparta, needed to be entered. Upon looking up Mohawk House in Sparta, NJ again, it seems that the issue in Google Maps has been resolved!
